Following the success of our first houseboat, built nine years ago now, we are delighted to present our second houseboat, which is also designed by Gilles Chabosseau – ATEC AUTODOMIA, who created the first prototype.
Drawing on the experience gained from this first venture, he was able to refine every detail to create a stylish accommodation, stable and robust, and, above all, perfectly integrated into its surroundings.
Dressed in a cosy Douglas fir cladding and topped with a steel-tiled roof with unusual lines, which has become the hallmark of the Baurech’s houseboats, it blends harmoniously into the lakeside landscape.

Its design and interior layout have been conceived to prioritise comfort, the brightness and a total immersion in nature thanks to its large windows overlooking the water.
Her launch, produced by the AUTAA company, was a particularly spectacular moment. Lifted by a heavy-duty crane, the house was carefully lowered onto the lake thanks to its structure, which combines a solid timber deck, two IPN beams and ROTAX floats secured in aluminium rails.
The ALMA Houseboat It will be moved to its permanent location by the end of next week and will welcome its first visitors from July 2026.
